Once when Jesus had gone into the region  of Sidon, a Canaanite woman from that area came to him and cried out "Have mercy  on me , O Lord , Son of David!

my daughter is suffering from demon-possession " But Jesus did not say a word to her.

His disciples begged him to send  the woman away because she was crying and troubling them . He replied, "I have been sent only to the sheep of the house of Israel."

The woman came and fell down before him, saying "Lord, help me!"  And Jesus  said  ,"Its not good to take the bread from the children and throw it to the dogs."Yes Load," she said, "but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters's table." This means that the woman looked upon herself as very unworthy but she knew  that Jesus  had authority to help her. Then Jesus said ,"O woman , great is your faith. What you want will  be done for you." and at that very moment her daughter was healed.
